Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Director, Global Learning and Organizational Development. The Director, Global Learning and Organizational Development manages and directs a broad range of global learning and organizational development projects and programs. Identifies and integrates learning services to leaders across the organization to support of the strategic plan and enhance the organization's capacity to deliver on the plan.Areas of concentration include: navigation of change, direction and management of the design, development and implantation of global learning initiatives, projects, and programs, collaboration with other stakeholders, facilitation of large and small group interventions, and management of staff.

This position will be based in our HFHI administrative office in Atlanta, GA.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Direct and manage performance of staff and their various projects
  • Design, plan, lead and facilitate as needed small and large group interventions and meetings
  • Through collaboration, lead the development of an annual global learning plan that supports the realization of the strategic plan
  • Lead and manage complex learning projects and priorities across various geographies
  • Consult with and coach clients and business units on learning and development initiatives
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • 10 years minimum related work experience
  • Ability to communicate and affirm HFHI Christian roots and principles
  • Knowledge of adult learning and organizational development principles and practices
  • Ability to manage organizational dynamics and cross-departmental collaborations
  • Able to lead and manage cross functional and virtual teams and influence others without direct position report
  • Client management and business development skills within a collaborative environment
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Demonstrated consulting, coaching and project management skills
  • Design skills for learning that integrates multiple learning methods and resources
  • Strong organizational skills to include event planning and management
  • Excellent and demonstrated oral and written communications skills
  • Experience in, and ability to work effectively with a range of cultures and a range of hierarchical levels
  • Proficiency in computer and software applications; interest and experience in using knowledge sharing tools
  • 8-10 years of experience in organizational development, management/leadership development, or related disciplines
