This position is responsible for the successful delivery of facility repairs and maintenance activities, building engineering and operations, vendor management and control, safety and physical security for all assigned ACS properties placing emphasis on excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and aligning with regional and enterprise goals and objectives.
- Ultimately responsible for all Facilities Management related aspects of all properties within assigned area.
- Directs all facilities management operations, including communications, systems, security, health & safety, mechanical and electrical and building services, procurement, including through the management of external vendors and contractors.
- Lead initiatives to reduce operating costs, increase efficiencies, maximize return on property investments, prolong asset useful life, ensure safety, and improve property value (where applicable).
- Implement and maintain initiatives to ensure compliance with goals, objectives, required metrics, planning and scheduling deadlines, budget requirements, and proper reporting and documentation management.
- Direct the current and projected Facilities Management requirements and expectations, establishing clear and measurable service delivery levels that support business objectives for assigned properties.
- Develops and implements maintenance and service programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties, where applicable, protecting and prolonging the useful life of assets within the portfolio and assuring customer satisfaction of the staff occupying the space.
- Ensures Facilities Management procedures comply with local, state and federal regulations.
- Implement and enforce workplace standards and initiatives.
- Produces and maintains various reports and metrics and oversees the implementation of best practices.
- Responsible for emergency preparation and response, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Direct supervision of Facilities Management staff and indirect supervision of related contractors, vendors and service providers.
- Professional designation preferred (i.e. CFM, FMP, CPM, RPA, MFE, etc.).

SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR KNOWLEDGE:
- 5-7 years work experience in facilities management, building engineering, property and/or construction management. Specific proficiency in MS Office suite of tools is essential. Proven success as a team-builder, change agent, crisis manager and strategic thinker is highly desirable.
