Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is in search of an experienced and dedicated Associate Director, IT Infrastructure. The Associate Director, IT Infrastructure provides technology vision and leadership in the development, implementation and maintenance of enterprise information systems and services. The Associate Director will lead the HFHI and Vendor technology team in managing Datacenter Operations, Local and Wide Area Network operations, and Voice technology that supports HFHI International and Domestic operations including: the evaluation of current technology and new technology to maintain a technology/lifecycle roadmap to meet the HFHI and CIO goals. Will provide leadership and direction to members on the team and ensure all team objectives are met. Defines technology standards, works on project teams, and trouble-shoots complex issues affecting the IT Enterprise. Collaborates with IT Technology Director on annual goals, objectives, and performance reviews oversight, discipline, promoting and training of team. Responsible for the day to day task management of team members ensuring projects and tasks are completed on-time and meet the defined requirements/objectives. Provide detail project/task management using PM disciplines.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Lead HFHI and Vendor IT Infrastructure Engineers in providing oversight, management, and mentoring of day-to-day tasks
  • Provide Project Management for Infrastructure related task/projects using Program Management disciplines.
  • Preform hands-on technical task to maintain the IT Infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain Datacenter and Network technology architectural direction and implementation plan for HFHI to ensure technology meets our current and future needs. Integrated into HFHI Technology Roadmaps.
  • Provide vendor oversight and management for areas of responsibilities to ensure they are meeting the guidance/requirements within the SOW
  • Provide timely reporting to IT Technology Director
Educational Background: 
Computer related Bachelor Degree or equivalent technical certification and experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • Cisco CCNA Routing & Switching Certification
  • ITIL V3 Certification
  • 5-10 years of Network Engineering experience AND Datacenter Operations experience
  • 3-5 Years of Leadership/People Management Experience
  • 2-3 years on Project Management experience
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, are required for daily interaction with both clients and team members.
  • Experience in technical project management and demonstrated ability to take a project through all phases, requirements gathering, design, implementation, and support.
  • Strong technical leadership that can motivate a technical team and take ownership of complex projects through requirements gathering, implementation, to support.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Datacenter Operations and Datacenter Outsourcing
  • Vendor Management to include scope management that align with SOW, task management, and reporting.
  • Hands-on Experience with VPN, IP Security, Virtualization, WAN technologies, VoIP/IP Telephony, SD-WAN, AND TDM/Packet provisioning and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with a broad range of network hardware and software
  • Experience with Cloud Computing environments to include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud solutions
  • Ability to develop metrics and interpret the metrics to make decisions in future directions
  • Hands-on experience managing full lifecycle implementations
  • Extensive knowledge of using and supporting MS Windows, MAC, Linux Operating Systems, MS Windows Server O/S, VMware, and Office products.
  • Extensive and current experience implementing and supporting Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration suite including Call Manager, Unity Connection, Presence, TMS, etc.
  • Experience with product evaluation and vendor selection to include RFP process
  • Extensive experience with network security and intrusion protections
  • Experience supporting an International environment

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Cisco CCNA Cloud and CCNP Certification
  • Experience implementing and supporting Office 365 E5
  • Video Conferencing Technology

Additional information: 

  • Overtime and after hours required, to include weekends
  • In Office Support, work remote on approval from manager
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs (Network/Server Equipment)
