The American Cancer Society talent strategy team takes on many roles in the recruitment, onboarding, and development of our staff and volunteers. Individuals in the talent strategy leadership office volunteer role, will support the American Cancer Society’s volunteer program by assisting the talent strategy team with their paperwork, data entry, and organization needs.
American Cancer Society Talent Strategy Leadership Office Volunteers will support talent strategy by performing some of the following tasks and more:
- Communicate with current and new onboarding volunteers regarding their paperwork via phone and/or email
- Assist the talent strategy staff with paperwork and data entry
- Help to keep onboarding paperwork and information organized electronically so data can easily be found when needed
- Maintain an understanding of ACS volunteer roles and the compliance requirements for those roles
- Complete the necessary training courses upon beginning in this role and throughout as new training and compliance courses arise• Assist the talent strategy team with additional office related needs as necessary
