Direct and manage all campaign and “start-up” operational mechanics of ACS BrightEdge Ventures, ensuring seamless execution of the venture philanthropy business. Partner closely with Development, Enterprise Planning and Business Integration, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Research, and other stakeholders internally to ensure alignment of work as well as constant progress toward fundraising and investment goals. Build opportunities that will represent BrightEdge to individual and corporate investors; and in partnership with other BrightEdge staff and Society leadership.. Manage all back-office functions of BrightEdge including but not limited to external marketing, investor web portal and periodic investor communications and reporting.
- Manage development and execution of fundraising plans in partnership with Enterprise Planning and Business Integration and Corporate Alliance teams
- Develop and manage all aspects of BrightEdge infrastructure including selection and management of a web-based investor portal, marketing and web content in partnership with the Society’s marketing and communication teams
- Develop and manage pitch materials and delivery
- Manage portfolio development, opportunity strategy, delivery and follow-up from open to close of opportunity
- Develop and manage distribution of all periodic reporting to investors and advisory members including formal investment reporting packages and call plans? movement
- Plan and manage periodic advisory meetings and conferences including agenda, content, speaker presentations, and logisitics
- Plan and manage “virtual” investment perfomance meetings
- Develop and manage all periodic communications to advisory members and key investors
- Support venture leadership in deal flow due diligence, pitch packaging investment evaluation
- Develop key relationships with the ACS research department to faciliate
- Develop and maintain strong understanding of the Society’s data governance framework
- Skills are expected to be commensurate with required formal knowledge:
- Strong business acumen demonstrated through significant prior experience in a business or operations functional area
- Demonstrated, strong business and financial analytics capabilities; strong business research capabilities
- Executive presence and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain very strong working relationships with “C-Suite” level executives.
- Demonstrated, highly developed problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively listen, communicate, and influence others in a productive and professional manner across all staff levels; ability to build consensus when needed
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
- Demonstrated ability to complete very detailed work with a passion for the details as well as ability to work in ambiguous environments with only conceptual frameworks
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment
