Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Associate Director - Collaboration, Support and Operations (CSO). The Associate Director of the CSO department serves as lead support for the VP of Collaboration, Support and Operations at Habitat for Humanity International and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is critical to the success of the CSO Unit under the RD Division. This person guides the overall project management of strategic initiatives from US and Global Programs with the fundraising division. This position also manages the overall operations of the CSO Unit under the direction of the Vice President of Collaboration, Support and Operations.

The Associate Director of CSO plays a critical role managing high level engagement with key internal and external stakeholders. This person needs to excel in complex project management and has applied continuous improvement methodology from past experience. This position requires a resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical, and interpersonal skills. This position requires the ability to manage several activities and projects at the same time and can coordinate among different departments outside of the Resource Development Division. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Project Management - Supports VP of CSO, to manage a variety of complex projects and/or initiatives; serves as the point person to build out or fine tune systems and business processes within the initiatives. Supports short/long term planning, monitoring of on-going activities and balancing competing priorities within constrained timeframes; proactively seek and lead opportunities for continuous improvement across the division.
  • Analysis/Research - Uses data driven evidence to influence changes to processes, prepares and consolidates feedback from key stakeholders within a specific project/initiative, prepares monthly and quarterly consolidated reports for the unit.
  • Relationship Management – Develop and manage relationships within RD and across organization and external stakeholders to advance priority resource development initiatives and overall effectiveness of the CSO unit.
  • Presentations and Reporting - Lead content development for key management reports.
  • Meeting Coordination and Facilitation - Support and facilitate key meetings and strategy sessions including agenda setting, content coordination, action items, assignments, timelines; follow up to ensure progress against new deliverables and next steps.

  • High degree of self-reliance and resourcefulness to lead processes that may not be clearly defined and are constantly evolving with an action oriented mindset; influence without formal authority; creative problem-solver.
  • Proven ability to deliver tangible impact while handling competing priorities in a ‘fast paced’ environment, and exhibit efficient time management and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly collect information from internal and external sources, synthesize and summarize for senior executive review.
  • Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business, technology and interpersonal savviness, confidence and relationship management skills to interface with all levels of the global Habitat network.
  • Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity and trust; demonstrable servant leadership.
  • Strong strategic/financial analysis skills.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Mission-driven; passionate; comfortable communicating about and working within a Christian organization.
