The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating projects related to the Office of Sponsored Programs. The Project Coordinator provides administrative, meeting, logistics, and project management support to the staff in the Office of Sponsored Programs and other functional areas working to support external grant activities.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Assist in coordinating projects and initiatives of the Office of Sponsored Programs including pre-award grant development activities, support of grant tracking and management system, and other grant-related projects as necessary.  Manage workflow for grant clearance process and ensure work plan for projects stay on schedule. Support other grant and compliance projects as needed.
  • On large scale projects of great complexity, manage a component of the project as a member of the team leadership. 
  • Organize and maintain the records of the projects, including files, budget, calendar, reimbursements.  
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed to support department staff.
Skills/Experience: 
  • 2 to 4 years experience
  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience with grant management and project management strongly preferred
