March of Dimes, the leading nonprofit organization fighting for healthy moms and strong babies, is seeking an Insights & Data Analyst to support our transformation by leveraging analytic solutions that deliver actionable marketing intelligence. They are responsible for developing and implementing strategy for digital and non-digital analytics, vendor and tool selection, reporting and dashboard development, optimization testing and overall analytics project management. S/he will work closely with the digital leadership team, stakeholders, vendors and developers to identify data needs and implement a solution capable of delivering them. The Insights & Data Analyst will facilitate collaboration within March of Dimes by joining multiple data sets, the various people leveraging data, and the strategies for connecting and activating our audience. This role will also support and energize a testing and optimization framework, deployed across multiple touch points.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to develop measurement models that are scalable and able to drive engagement strategies
  • Present analysis and recommendations, pulling from a variety of quantitative and qualitative data sets, to key stakeholders
  • Create digital testing and optimization strategies by generating hypotheses and measuring the success of ongoing experiments deployed across multiple touch points
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across departments to help facilitate success
  • Define and validate technical requirements to improve our ability to capture more insight on audience engagement
  • Manage and audit digital analytics technical implementations. Work with stakeholders and vendors to ensure appropriate tagging and tracking measures are in place and functioning properly.
  • Aggregate behavioral, user, and survey data from multiple sources to produce a composite picture of user experience and digital usability, and make recommendations for enhancements/improvements.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, benchmarks and best practices, drawing on them to inform marketing and fundraising strategies and tactics.
Educational Background: 
Four year college degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5-7 years experience
  • Progressively Responsible experience
  • Demonstrable experience in Web analytics, performance measurement and analysis required
  • Experience working with website analytics programs (e.g. Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics)
  • Experience with tag management tools, such as Google Tag Manager or Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager
  • Experience defining requirements for new functions or features with digital analytics tracking and tagging
  • Experience validating technical implementation of analytics tags using standard tag debugging tools
  • A strong understanding of Web marketing strategy and design
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel) and Google Docs (spreadsheets)
  • Experience in forecasting and trend analysis
  • Experience building data visualizations in tools such as Tableau, Domo or Google Data Studio
  • Experience with analyzing qualitative data collected in session recording tools and customer surveys
  • Experience identifying opportunities, testing a hypothesis and validating via A/B/MVT testing
  • Highly motivated, able to take high-level direction and execute tasks with minimal guidance
