Responsible for general oversight of all accounting systems, structures, and procedures required to support all externally sponsored program grants and contracts as well as all internally awarded grants. Responsible in providing support that optimizes Foundation-wide program activities to ensure organizational compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee the development of grant application budgets with all funder specification. This requires staying abreast of all federal regulations (OMB A-110, A-122, A-133), HIPAA, Human Subjects), and standard terms and conditions of external funding. Act as the point person for the annual A-133 audit.
- Review all awards with legal and OSP. Review grant application budgets pre-award
- Post award – Approve all accounts payable, manage all FTE schedules and grant payrolls. Review all direct and indirect allocations and document accordingly.
- Provide budget analysis and monitoring, financial reporting all monthly invoicing, federal drawdowns/FFRs and monthly GL reconciliations. Also responsible for all deferred revenue grant schedules and annual certifications i.e. SAM, grants.gov, etc.
- Manage all March of Dimes awarded grants. Ensure financial compliance to the terms of the grants are strictly adhered to. Manage terms of payment and manage cash flow of award. Annually budget for all awards and report out monthly on progress.
- 8-10 years experience
- Previous grant management experience
- Certified Research Administrator (CRA) is highly recommended
- Demonstrated experience handling multiple projects and tasks
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, communication and professional leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, including the ability to work with all levels of staff
