Position Title: Early Childhood Development Field Leaders

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

WVI Early Childhood Development Program aims to provide training on “Learning Roots” and “Go Baby Go” for targeted caregivers and KG facilitators in Amman and Zarqa, Under the overall supervision of the Early Childhood Education Coordinator, ECD Field Leader will be responsible to lead the Community-Based Trainers for Learning Roots and Go Baby Go approaches, and following up with implement PTA engagement as he is going to do the field work like collecting data and arranging field schedule and logistics, beside conduct training sessions for both targeted caregivers and KG facilitators in MoE targeted schools.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead the community based trainers in the field and support them.

  • Lead the planning, facilitation and implementation of the project activities in the field

  • Attend WV LR and GBG (TOT) training sessions and passing successfully the training requirements to get the training certificate.

  • Preparing needed field sessions procurement requests and GRNs after coordinating with ECE Coordinator

  • Maintain programmatic accountability for program activities including data collection for evaluation, record keeping of activities.

  • Facilitate efficient and timely implementation of planned activities by all relevant committees,

  • Work closely with the government partners and targeted schools.

  • Distribute LR & GBG Training session`s materials and facilitate training schedule to ensure quality technical messages on various models reaching all the target beneficiaries

  • Any other duty as assigned by the ECE Coordinator

Education:Diploma or university Degree in related field.

Experience:

  • At Least two-years’ experience working in Humanitarian NGOs

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Understanding for Early Childhood Development within WVI Projects.

  • Ability and willingness to work in the field.

  • Ability to work individually and in a team

  • Attention to detail

  • Time management skills

  • Excellent communication and co-operation skills.

  • Ability to cope and work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Computer literate mainly in Microsoft Office package.

  • Experience in field work for Education or Child protection projects.

  • Good understanding of WVI procurement and Logistics system.

  • Very good knowledge of child protection.
