The Senior cash officer will work under the supervision of the Project manager, s/he is responsible for the execution and reporting of all cash activities under the project to effectively support the overall cash needs of the project.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Coordinate closely with the project field staff regarding the beneficiaries’ attendance and lead the preparation of their payroll and ensure that all of the supporting documents are in place in a close coordination with the field staff.
- Take the lead in consolidating the beneficiaries’ salaries payments and procurement plans from the Project Team.
- Maintain a Database for the cash activities to keep track of the payments.
- Follow up with the CCF regarding the card issuance, salaries transfer, address and provide feasible solution to any technical issue raised by the project beneficiaries
- Represent WVI in cash sector at the field level
- Adopt & maintain relevant SOPs for cash intervention
- Following the monitoring tools for cash modalities and ensure the monitoring reports are produced on time for management review
- Conduct field visits prior any planned distribution of cash programming instruments (Vouchers, pre-paid cards, ATM… etc).
- Suggest adjustments of the cash assistance according to evolving needs
- act as the project focal point for cash advances, petty cash by ensure that all of the required supporting documents are provided as well as follow up with the project staff to develop a proper expenditure plan.
- work closely with finance department to ensure that all of the project financial documents are compiled and organized in addition to follow up regarding the local partner & supplier payments.
- Ensure PRFs are in place submitted on time. Coordinate with the project team for the timely submission of the PRFs.
- Work closely with procurement department to ensure project items to be delivered in timely manner
- Tracking and reporting on all Deliveries from the suppliers.
- Collect GRNs from the receivers in the project site and submit them to the Procurement Department for the timely payment to the suppliers.
- work in a close coordination with the project manager to ensure that all the Vehicles required for the Projects are available on timely basis.
- Follow up with logistics department on the timely availability of the vehicles.
- Supervise the project data entry and manage the circulation & distribution of cash in addition to Maintain beneficiaries’ database
- Any other duties as agreed with the supervisor.
Skills/Experience:
- 3-5 years Logistics and cash experience
- Knowledge of Logistics, supply chain processes & cash component
- Excellent written & oral command of Arabic and English
- Computer literate mainly with MSOffice software package Good communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
- Ability to foster a good team spirit
- Ability to transmit information correctly with accountability and maintain confidentiality
