Ensure with high quality the implementation of the activities and services in Peace Road Center in Azraq Camp with the support of Child Protection in Emergency Manager and Peace Center Team. The head of Peace Center will also ensure that all activities in the center are highly valued by the community and acknowledged as addressing the needs of children in emergencies in Azraq camp.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead the implementation of the activities in the Peace Center based on agreed plan with WV Korea office; (20%)
- Provide professional leadership to the Peace Center staff and lead them in understanding their role as well as ensuring high staff performance through daily effective feedback; (10%)
- Support the coordination of job training for Peace Center team and ensure staff development through training as appropriate. (10%)
- Build strong relationship with the communities and other stakeholders in Azraq Camp by representing World Vision properly. (10%)
- Liaison with other non-governmental organizations (NGOs), local government officials, churches/ FBOs and community leaders in the Azraq Camp area to ensure good collaboration and encourage partnerships. (10%)
- Ensure that data, reports and media material are provided on a timely basis to communication people. (5%)
- Monitor progress of the implementation of activities at the Peace Center and ensure that staff fill in all necessary reporting templates in time and submit them to Reporting and Data Management Officer. (10%)
- Comply fully and ensure the Peace Center staff compliance with WV’s Child Protection Policy and code of conduct. (5%)
- Lead the set up and maintenance of all the Peace Center operational mechanism to ensure that the PC is fully operational (10%)
- Assist the Child Protection in Emergency Manager on monitoring on monthly basis the Peace Center actual expenditures, compare them with the planned expenses, and review the budget. Prepare monthly management reports, financial reports as required. (5%)
- Perform other duties as required (5%)
Educational Background:
Technical diploma or university degree preferably in social work or community development fields
