To coordinate operations in the Green Center for EU funded Project by managing 3 direct lines – a Green Center Manager, NFI/Log Officers, as well as to coordinate the commercial part of the project with the SCM Department. At the same time to lead the engineer work of the Green Center/ Project infrastructure enhancement.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Managing team performance
  • Coordinating Green Center operations in the camp
  • Acting as an PM OIC when needed
  • Coordinate with other camp actors SWM operations
  • Contribute in WASH strategies development both at organizational and at the camp WASH sector levels
  • Coordinate the commercial component of the project to increase the project cost recovery
  • Apply innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of operations from engineering and operational perspectives
  • Coordinate Green Center related construction, procurement and logistic needs/issues with respective departments
  • Coordinate with MEAL department the project progress checks
Educational Background: 
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
Skills/Experience: 
  • Strong engineering technical skills
  • Knowledge and practical user of engineering software
  • Renovation and rehabilitation experience
  • Construction experiences and skills
  • Managerial experience
  • Working experience in the camp
  • Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English
  • Certificate or ongoing involvement in the PMP course is preferable
  • Understanding of SWM issues in the country and in the refugee camp
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible world view, emotional maturity and physical stamina
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Ability to foster a good team spirit
  • Ability to transmit information correctly with accountability and maintain confidentiality
  • Team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Creative with coming up with new ideas & solutions
  • At least 2 years’ exposure to SWM and Project Coordination in the camp settings
  • 70% field work and 30% office based
