Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is recruiting a Resource Warehouse Supervisor, who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HFHI Redistribution Center (RC), and inventory management of the Resource Warehouse (RW) e-commerce site. This positions engages with every department and program within the organization.

The position is based at HFHI’s operational headquarters in Americus, GA.

Key responsibilities:

REDISTRIBUTION CENTER (RC) OPERATIONS
  • Ensuring that warehouse equipment, i.e., forklift, scales, compacting equipment, and all computer systems (hardware and software) are properly maintained and that users are fully trained and authorized.
  • Leading preparation for inventory audits--annually with the finance team and winter, self-guided inventory.
  • Maintaining timely, accurate and meaningful workload data which relates to Redistribution Center (RC) warehouse volume, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Ensuring inventory integrity in all items listed in RW and stored in the Americus warehouse.
  • Leading customer service excellence in communications with external and internal clients.
  • Leading and monitoring warehouse inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintaining warehouse in an efficient, neat, orderly and secure manner.
  • Receiving, Inventorying and professionally processing incoming shipments of freight, mail, and print shop materials.
  • Ensuring warehouse security, cleanliness, organization, efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Maintaining RC shipping and other supplies at necessary levels and on budget.
  • Managing the recycle program for corrugated cardboard.
RESOURCE WAREHOUSE
  • Maintaining Navision records as related to position and Resource Warehouse.
  • Ensuring inventory integrity in all items listed in RW and stored in the Americus warehouse.
  • Reordering Gift-In-Kind (GIK) as is possible and necessary.
  • Leading communications with GIK team on incoming GIK to be distributed via RW.
  • Fulfilling Resource Warehouse (RW) orders in a timely, accurate and professional manner, ensuring that all entries in the e-commerce Resource Warehouse shopping cart are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Arranging for special shipping needs, i.e. freight, and expedited shipping as necessary for any HFHI department or program.
  • Working closely with print shop personnel on delivery of custom-print RW orders.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Fostering a customer-focused operation.
  • Leading customer service excellence in communications with external and internal clients.
  • Processing all invoices for payment in timely manner.
  • Ensuring RW orders and all other shipments are handle in timely and professional manner.
STAFF SUPERVISION
  • Leading customer service excellence in communications with external and internal clients.
  • Lead and monitor operations in warehouse for safety and standards for excellence.
  • Approving time cards.
  • Approving leave requests and maintaining accurate records of scheduling and leave issues.
  • Ongoing training and coaching of RC staff.
  • Monitoring and addressing performance concerns of RC staff.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years related experience in logistics/warehouse/retail inventory.
  • Supervisory experience managing others, working with outside vendors, using Navision or other inventory management software.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., and stand for long periods of time.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must possess valid drivers license and be certified to operate a forklift.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), internet browsers.
