- The DME Coordinator will assist the Programme Manager in effective design, monitoring and evaluation of the projects in order to measure impact and share learning.
- The position will also conduct/ facilitate a situation analysis, develop and maintain monitoring systems for the project/ programmes, carry out monitoring visits and prepare field reports.
- He/She should also maintain a good relationship with internal and external partners including national office, support officers, donors, sponsors, other NGO’s, Professional agencies and Government Agencies to gain their engagement.
- Accurate and timely submission of all relevant reports & to be able to design and develop relevant systems in order to improve the quality of programmes.
- At least 02 years’ experience in participatory assessments and monitoring, logical approach, data processing/ analysis and result based management
- Good contextual knowledge of local issues, community priorities and social and cultural constraints and realities
- Analytical skills and ability to think objectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Sinhala and/or Tamil preferred.
- Excellent Computer skills in MS office, SPSS, and other statistical packages
- Good Interpersonal skills and able to work in a team and be prepared to train the others
- Experience and skills using database programmes for data entry, analysis, and reporting
