The role of the Level One Program Manager is to implement and manage one or more regional education programs.  This is a salaried exempt position.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Manage and implement one or more education programs: includes delivery of educational instruction and group facilitation
  • In collaboration with the Director prepare, implement and manage specific program budgets
  • Participate in the development, implementation, delivery and continual revision of program curricula and evaluation plans
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community agencies and schools
  • Actively market education programs to internal departments, community agencies, schools and particiapnts
  • If appropriate manage program or administrative volunteers
  • Prepare monthly and yearly reports illustrating qualitative and quantitative program data
  • Create and deliver educational sessions for internal and external clients
  • Research and disseminate data regarding community resources for PPRM medical and education clients
  • Participate in self directed, ongoing knowledge acquisition of research and resources related to the field of sexual health and comprehensive sex education
  • Pursue opportunities to create new education programs and expand and evaluate existing programs
  • Work collaboratively with other PPRM departments to achieve agency wide goals
  • Represent the Education department and PPRM to internal and external councils and committees
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Participates in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.)
Educational Background: 
College degree (AD, BS, or BA) or equivalent experience required. 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Previous Planned Parenthood or related human service experience required.  High comfort level in discussing sexuality issues. Thorough knowledge of sexual health.  Strong organizational and communication skills.  Program management, group facilitation and teaching experience.  Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.  Bi or multi-lingual preferred and may be required.
