We are searching for an Office Manager who will ensure that all aspects of the logistics and administrative needs required to support event priorities and fundraising staff are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner.
- providing effective supervision of the event administrative support teams in Albany and Poughkeepsie;
- providing administrative and logistical support to fundraising directors for events assigned to you;
- supporting the planning and execution of events in the territory;
- coordinating logistics at up to two assigned events;
- recruiting and supervising volunteers for fundraising events;
- providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors for Albany;
- administrative and data management ensuring accurate and timely information is available to the team.

- having a college degree or some college is helpful, but at least a high school diploma or GED is needed;
- having 2 years of administrative support experience with at least one year of experience supervising administrative support staff is important;
- you should have the ability to work effectively with administrative staff, managers, and volunteers, including diffusing and handling employee relations issues;
- you can handle confidential matters with discretion;
- having excellent verbal and written communication skills is very important;
- you have experience in organizing, prioritizing and handling multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment;
- prior experience coordinating the work of subordinate staff;
- proficiency in using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- experience with Publisher and other graphics programs, internet and database applications is important to have;
- you are willing to work outside standard hours including evenings and weekends as needed in support of meetings and events;
- willingness and ability to travel to other affiliate offices as needed for meetings and training.
