  • Serves as primary contact for Workers Compensation Issues.
  • Receives and processes all Workers Compensation Claims.
  • Maintains Workers Compensation Files.
  • Prepares and distributes OSHA forms annually.
  • Serves as primary contact for Unemployment Claims.
  • Provides information to third party unemployment company when requested and assists with setting up unemployment hearings.
  • Maintains Unemployment files.
  • Reviews and communicates background check results to recruiters.
  • Consults with HR Management when questionable background check results are received.
  • Reviews all credentialing documents prior to employee’s start date to ensure all needed forms are accurately completed and degree information is provided and is from an appropriately accredited institution. 
  • Enters required credentialing information in Relias at hire and updates Relias as necessary when credentials are updated. 
  • Creates and maintains contractor files, ensuring all required paperwork is completed, reviewed with appropriate signatures and received. 
  • Assists with maintenance of HRIS system to include adding and updating supervisors, forms and locations.
  • Acts as Self Service administrator, assisting staff with set up and log in issues. 
  • Notifies supervisors/employees of missing personnel information.
  • Maintains personnel files.
  • Serves as contact for employment verifications.
  • Assists with requests from supervisors/employees.
  • Assists with audits as needed.
  • Special projects as assigned.
Educational Background: 
High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills/Experience: 
  • 2 years Human Resources experience or Associates degree and 1 year Human Resource experience. Experience with Workers Compensation strongly preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, organize and follow through 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Computer skills, including typing, Microsoft Office software and ability to work within an HRIS system or other database.
