- Serve as the team leader in determining overall direction of treatment and providing supervision and guidance to other team members in implementing the plan for treatment. Eco-Systemic Family Therapy is the evidenced based practice model provided to children and families receiving IIH services through ESUCP.
- Supervision will entail weekly team meetings and daily phone contact with team members.
- Provide or arrange for other team members to provide crisis management, intensive case management, individual and/or family therapy, substance abuse intervention, parent and/or child skills training, and other rehabilitative supports.
- Provide family therapy/interventions/education when needed and assist in creating behavioral supports for guardians or care givers.
- Monitor and manage the child’s presenting psychiatric and/or addiction symptoms.
- Responsible for coordinating the initial assessment and developing the youth’s Person Centered Plan (PCP).
- Provide, when assigned, “first responder” crisis response on a 24/7/365 basis to recipients, this is a shared rotational on-call among the team members.
- Deliver services in various environments, such as homes, schools, community locations, etc.
- Provide reviews of service notes and ensure timeliness.
- Approve timesheets and billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure incident reports are prepared and submitted on time.
- Manage utilization review.
- Manage and support NC TOPPS submissions.
Skills/Experience:
- Licensed or provisionally licensed masters level professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPA, LPC (for candidates for LPC licensure you must be board eligible).
- Candidates need at least one year experience working with children and/or adolescents.
- Experience working with children and families is preferred.
