Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is searching for qualified candidates for immediate vacancies in our Transportation department in Philadelphia. We have part-time and substitute positions, for School Bus drivers needed to transport children with special needs to our Early Intervention Center and Approved Private School in the Wynnefield Section of Philadelphia as well as Delaware County. Drivers play a key role in the daily lives of children we serve with special needs. Drivers are quite often the first Easterseals employees children see in the morning, and the last ones they see at night. As such, Drivers are in a unique position to make a difference for our children.

Basic Responsibilities:

Current CDL, school bus endorsement S & P. Candidates with CDL only willing to obtain the endorsements will be considered. High school diploma and current physical card. Ability to satisfactorily complete pre-employment clearances and drug screen. Preferred candidate would be a certified school bus driver instructor or be willing to become a certified school bus driver instructor.

Experience working with pre-school age population preferred but not required.

School and summer schedule.
