The United Way of Broome County is seeking a visionary, dynamic, and driven leader to serve as our next Executive Director. Our Executive Director is responsible for continuously driving the agency toward its vision including our associated transition to Community Impact. Primary responsibilities include operational performance of all program areas while continuously expanding the organization’s visibility and relationships throughout Broome County.
Candidates should possess: high-level leadership experience of large groups/organizations, including the areas of relationship building, staff development/coaching, public engagement/media interface, strategic planning, operations oversight, financial stewardship, project management, and resource development. Experience with overseeing grant programs is also desirable. Minimum qualifications also include: a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) from an accredited college or university (or some combination of equivalent education and experience), and comprehensive experience in the field of human services.
