Easterseals is seeking a flexible, energetic, team oriented individual to assist adults with intellectual disabilities within the Prevocational program which necessitates the ability to work various schedules, including early morning.
The candidate must have the ability to plan, implement & support daily activities in the community during volunteer and leisure experiences. Applicants must have the ability to develop individual learning plans, document individual progress, implement individual and small group daily activities, in the facility and in the community and provide coverage in the absence of the Program Supervisor.
Educational Background:
Bachelor Degree preferred, Associate Degree plus Intellectual Disability experience considered.
Skills/Experience:
- Position is directly supervised by the Program Supervisor. This is a full time 40 hour per week non-exempt position with benefits.
- Applicants must have intellectual disability experience with adults and a good driving record.
