We are currently seeking qualified Grants Manager candidates for the anticipated USAID/Philippines New Youth Activity.
Grants Manager will provide direct support and expertise to the project to ensure the efficient administration of sub-awards in accordance with FHI 360 and donor policies and procedures. S/he will directly contribute to drafting solicitation documents, grant agreements, reviewing budgets and overseeing implementation of grant awards. The position will also ensure the project remains compliant with FHI 360 requirements, while seeking to identify efficiencies in the administration of grants.
- Minimum five years of experience in a contracting position in either the Federal Government acquisition system or a non-governmental organization;
- At least 3 years of negotiating experience and direct management of contracts and other agreements;
- Advanced knowledge of USAID rules and regulations including but not limited to 22 CFR 226, 2 CFR 200, 2 CFR 700, 22 CFR 228, ADS 303, ADS 302, FAR and AIDAR;
- Relevant software skills to include spreadsheet and data base software and Management Information Systems; and
- Fluency in English required; fluency in Tagalog preferred.
- Effective skills in negotiations, sub-award management and procurement;
- Effective oral communication and business/technical writing skills;
- Independently use technology to perform work. Ensure integrity of systems, internal controls and data, including recommending modifications for further strengthening as indicated;
- Apply updated technology to facilitate procedures and achieve unit goals and objectives; and
- Adaptable to work environments in diverse cultural settings.
