This position develops the necessary strategies required to attract and engage new volunteers and donors, reach/exceed financial goals and build the United Way brand by driving traffic, revenue and educating the community about United Way of Northeast Georgia’s mission through multiple marketing channels. This role will develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy in line with the United Way brand that focuses on retaining and engaging with our existing donors and volunteers while attracting new ones. This leader will leverage their expertise to support and expand fundraising and share the story of our community’s impact on early learning and childhood development, workforce development and basic needs.
- Build alignment on engagement strategies that drive new donor acquisition and deepen relationships among existing donors
- Customize content and experiences to enhance the volunteer/donor journey with United Way
- Lead strategy development and clearly define content distribution during particular stages of the donor/volunteer journey, with particular focus before and after engagement with workplace campaigns
- Create new and innovative brand communication proposals based on historical information, current trends and experiences to help evolve and improve our regional brand recognition and impact
- Leverage and enhance existing data and analytics, and develop additional research and data sources as necessary to inform creation of fundraising strategy and engagement activities
- Create internal communication pieces and presentations that are delivered to existing and potential donors and community partners
- Develop social media strategy and maximize content delivery by leveraging the necessary tools and partnerships
- Whenever possible, utilize volunteer and intern expertise to execute on digital strategies, donor events, and volunteer engagement opportunities

- Three years experience crafting and delivering messages
- Has the ability to manage multiple projects at once with varying timelines
- Posseses excellent communication skills, a strong leadership presence and is an effective storyteller in evangelizing strategies and new directions
- Has strong collaboration and partnership skills, the ability to effectively influence stakeholders and gain consensus at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Adobe Suite’s InDesign, Illustrator, or like applications
