In coordination with the VITA Program Manager and United Way staff, specific VISTA responsibilities will include: Program Assessment-evaluating effectiveness of volunteer recruitment methods, training methods, volunteer software and management effectiveness. Establish and assist in implementing new strategies.
Communication Tool-assess and implement most effective communication platform to improve communication among VITA site coordinators. Assist with creating Site Coordinator-Site Handbook (including best practices, local resource guide, etc.).
Data-Collect and interpret data from surveys, feedback (committees) to assist in decision making of and testing of new strategies, tools and communication platforms. An ideal VISTA candidate is comfortable working in diverse neighborhoods, and has a passion for supporting the financial stability of low-income families.
- Typical work hours: 8:30 am-4:30 pm -Microsoft office skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Some Saturday and evening work November through April, heaviest February and March
You will receive a stipend of $12,000 plus annually
