We have an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Market Director-Go Red For Womenin ourFort Worth, TX office. The selected candidate will supervise one Development Specialist and will have fundraising responsibilities for theFort Worth Go Red for Women campaign by bringing together corporate partners, medical leaders, community leaders, and volunteers of the community to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke, the #1 and #5 killer in America.Thisyear the event raised almost $1 million and withapproximately 550 attendees at the luncheon.If you have a strong fundraising or sales background where you traveled in an assigned territory OR if you have an event coordination background coupled with sales or fundraising we want to hear from you!
- Mobilizing CEO’s, President's and upper level executives in the Tarrant County area to build and effective Executive Leadership Team to raise funds for the Go Red for Women campaign.
- Developing pipelines of top businesses within the assigned geographic area to ensure revenue generation through corporate sponsorship for theGo Red for Women
- Conducting sales calls to generate new business and manage existing corporate sponsors.
- Developing and monitoring an annual working plan with dollar and volunteer recruitment goals, budget and timelines for the events. Develop contingency plans as need to successfully meet fundraising goals.
- Leading cultivation opportunities to strengthen relationships with volunteers, sponsors & key corporate &community leaders to advance our mission.
- Expanding our reach into the philanthropic community of individuals participating in our Circle of Red, Cor Vitae Society or Open Your Heart campaigns to raise fundsand awareness.
- Managing the Development Specialist to ensure that eventmanagement and logistics for theFort Worth Go Red for WomenLuncheon are completed and recognize top donors and volunteers.
- Networking within the local area, and recruiting and retaining our valued volunteers.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Related experience may be substituted as follows: 1½ years’ experience equates to 1 full time year of higher education.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in fundraising, outside sales or in anon-profit organization in a similar capacity.This experience may also count towards satisfying this position’s educational
- Ability to accomplish results through strong volunteer recruitment and management,proven track record in meeting sales/fundraising goals.
- Organization,communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication.
- Ability to work outside standard hours as needed including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Candidates must be results driven with the ability to multi task, and must also be willing and able to travel (no overnight) within Fort Worth up to 75%.
- Must have the ability to lift at least 20 lbs from the ground to waist level with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have at least basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office 2010 used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
