We are seeking a full-time, results-oriented professional to join our dynamic marketing and engagement team. The Donor Engagement Specialist builds key relationships with an assigned portfolio of corporate and individual donors. They carry out a year-round donor gratitude plan. With exceptional listening skills, they develop personal relationships with active/prospective donors, developing a clear understanding of their values and interests. Supporting the work of the team, they are adept at developing and using the agency’s donor database, creating reports and analyses for use by the agency and other stakeholders when appropriate.
- 3-5 years progressively responsible development or nonprofit experience or comparable.
- Self-starter with proactive communications and problem-solving skills.
- Proven capabilities in project planning and management, relationship cultivation, public speaking and strategic planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Greater Lorain County or area with similar demographic composition a plus.
Salary: $31,000 to $40,000 per year
