United Way of East Central Iowa (UWECI) is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to lead Community Investments. This management position provides community and organizational leadership that will ensure UWECI invests resources in agencies, programs, services, and community initiatives that have measurable impact for people and communities. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in engaging key stakeholders, providing leadership to volunteers and community partners, conducting oversight of funding processes, and supervising programs and staff. The Senior Manager, Community Investment must demonstrate knowledge of community resources and the factors that contribute to the well-being of people.
This role requires effective decision-making, project management, and communication skills; background in a human service, public health, or social work-related field; and experience with strategic planning, facilitation, relationship management, and network building. Qualifications include a four-year degree from an accredited college (postgraduate degree preferred) and the ability to work with diverse populations.
