Manage grant reporting systems to ensure UWCW grantees have the necessary tools to efficiently prepare and submit reports on time. The manager will lead and support various research and evaluation efforts, from planning and facilitation to data analysis, interpretation, and graphic visualizations of data. From this vantage point, manager will be point person to ensure continuous improvement in workflow and communications with Resource Development Department.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Grants and Reports Management 35%

  • Partner Portal and Communications including technical assistance
  • Data mining for Safety Net and Equity in Operations Cohort
  • Prepare grant reports for Successful Families (SF) 2020 funders, including gathering of partner reports, data analysis, and narrative development, as assigned.
  • Prepare reporting for other United Way agencies, communications reports, and partners (individual reports and cohort-level reports)
  • Update Community Investment web pages and support edits to online reporting website

Community Investment Partner and Evaluation Management (35%)

  • Planning, convening, and facilitation of grantee partner meetings and workshops, including agenda development and meeting preparation (lead and support as determined by Director of Community Investments)
  • Planning and facilitation of evaluation-related meetings and workshops; these include but are not limited to: focus groups, steering committees (e.g. SF2020 Data Team), project advisory groups (e.g. SF tool development), etc.
  • Support Data Manager with data analysis as needed
  • Create data visualizations and assist in the development of communications/marketing collateral in support of communication of findings to the community, funders and other stakeholders, in collaboration with Data Manager
  • Support partners in collection of student and caregiver consent from partners and maintain accurate records 
  • Document key learnings and help facilitate plans and action to move strategies from learnings forward

Interdepartmental Collaboration (15%)

  • In collaboration with Director of Community Investment, assign Corporate Relations requests in support of fundraising efforts
  • Monitor, follow up, and coordinate work sessions in collaboration with Community Investments Team, develop agenda, and facilitate weekly team meeting
  • Work with Resource Development Team to create a space for coordination of strategies and activities, and to identify opportunities for collaboration

Administrative/Coordination 15%

  • Budget tracking and credit card reconciliation
  • Funding agreements: scanning, printing, signatures, and tracking for all investments
  • Coordination and processing of UWCW sponsorships, scholarships, and memberships
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree; or a comparable
Skills/Experience: 

Work Experience, Education, and Training

  • Three years’ work experience that aligns with this position’s requirements; combination of experience and education
  • Proven ability to take initiative and be creative in thinking and solutions, to think strategically, and to execute on plan.
  • Previous project coordination and administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with and/or working knowledge of research and data management
  • Proven experience working with culturally specific communities, demonstrated through established relationships with individuals and organizations within these communities. Experience with community outreach practices. Bilingual Spanish/English speaker preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office programs
  • Database management experience and CRM Platforms
  • Experience with and/or willingness to learn SQL Server and Report Builder
  • Ability to adapt to changing office technology
  • Driver’s license, automobile insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is primarily performed indoors, within an open office setting with a moderate noise level and occasional exposure to scents.
  • Frequently required to sit/stand at computer in a stationery position.
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as copy machine, printer, phone, and fax machine.
  • Frequently required to move about inside the office for meetings, access to information, office equipment, etc. 
  • Occasionally required to travel outside the office to meetings, events in other office and indoor settings.
Compensation/Benefits: 

$41,000 to $50,000 per year
