This position has three core responsibilities: support the online giving campaigns from site production, documentation, vendor management, and implementation; facilitate business change management by developing detailed business requirements and process flow diagrams, in addition to other appropriate standard analysis artifacts; and provide timely delivery of data and reports, execution of data research, and quality assurance. This individual manages multiple, ongoing, interrelated projects to achieve a specific set of client business goals. The Business Data Analyst coordinates service levels and agreements, while prioritizing resources across projects and entities. Position organizes and manages resources and plans all work required to complete a discrete project within defined scope, quality, time, and cost parameters. The Business Data Analyst provides training and technical support to external company volunteer campaign coordinators.
- Works with vendors, volunteer coordinators and Development staff to plan, setup, and test online workplace campaigns prior to their implementation in a live campaign and provides support throughout the course of the campaign.
- Performs data maintenance, collection, and reporting using existing tools; runs reports and lists using existing queries.
- Participates in site visits to companies along with development staff to provide technical and sales support for online workplace campaigns.
- Identifies, researches, and explains variances in data and calculated results, such as performance, in conjunction with other data management associates. Conducts data analysis in order to determine root cause of data inconsistencies.
- Provides data management consulting services to various projects with regard to standards and best practices.
- Works closely with the Data Lead on appropriate data quality and stewardship activities to ensure data held within our databases is accurate and aligns with our business requirements.
- Works closely with the Projects and Applications team to create and establish project plans and execute on deliverables within agreed timeframes. Communicates results, makes recommendations to address issues, and keep manager updated on project status.
- Provides status reporting as requested in support of IT Project Portfolio Management

- Demonstrated ability to perform statistical analysis, set goals and objectives, plan, provide leadership, and organize groups of people.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate data and generate reports in various formats to evaluate the validity of data, including discovering and correcting errors.
- Proven effective organization, time management, and project management skills.
- Proven customer relations and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse work groups
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced proficiency preferred. Experience with SQL and Data Visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
Education and/or Experience:
- Must have at least three years of experience in database and spreadsheet analysis, including data migration, integration, formatting, and manipulation using Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel or similar applications.
- Successful project management experience required.
The annual recruitment range is $53,500 to $56,500, depending on successful experience and prior accomplishments.
