Post corporate, payroll withholding and direct bill payments to existing accounts. Process donor credit card transactions, donor statements and receipts.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Research and accurately post daily accounts receivable checks, EFTs and lock box information to payroll, corporate and individual accounts and print reports to be approved by the Donor Services Manager.
- Provide customer service via phone and/or e-mail to donors and organizations regarding their accounts.
- Process billing statements for payroll, corporate and direct bill accounts in accordance with desired billing schedule for mailing by the 10th of each month.
- Provide information on leadership donors and other selected accounts to the SVP of Finance for analysis & follow up.
- Verify billing frequencies/preferences for payroll and corporate pledges, track leadership givers who specify direct billing.
- Monitor collections and unpaid pledge balances, following up with UWCO Relationship Managers and customers in a timely manner.
- Provide training and supervision for volunteer student interns.
- Consistently adhere to inter-departmental, volunteer and customer service standards.

Educational Background:
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable.
Skills/Experience:
- Requires a general accounting and number skills.
- Requires strong interpersonal and customer relations skills to handle inquiries into account balances and work with resource development staff on account questions.
- Requires detail-oriented work habits and analytical skills to accurately post payments and research issues.
- Strong computer skills required. Intermediate knowledge in Excel and Word required.
- Strong time management skills required.
- Requires a general knowledge of accounting and number skills.

EDUCATION
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
