The Database Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to help meet Individual Engagement Team (IE) goals and objectives. Coordinates the input, process flow, and extraction of data to allow the overall team to appropriately identify successful strategies and measure results. Researches and collaborates with IT to identify best practices for new opportunities for data capture, identifies opportunities for improvement with both data integrity and data capture, and recommends standard procedures to that end. Responsible for making sure MS-CRM data is entered accurately, and helping others to extract and interpret that data. The salary for this position will be in the low to mid 40's.
- Data Management-Provide oversight to ensure all volunteer information in MS-CRM is accurate, complete, consistent, and entered in a timely manner. Import data from VolunteerMatch and other sources into MS-CRM.
- Data Analysis-Review recognition, donor and contact data to discover trends and opportunities for further review by staff leads.
- Technical Support-Train staff on MS-CRM Individual Engagement functions. Create Standard Operating Procedures and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to IE Team in regard to data input, extraction, and data integrity. Recommend improvements and report issues to IT and appropriate staff.
- Reporting-Partner with IT team to articulate needs for production of reports focused on individual engagement, donors and recognition.
- Two to three years previous experience in database management or IT project management required.
- Previous experience with data analysis or business analytics is desired.
- Experience with MS-CRM or comparable Customer Relationship Management database systems required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work cooperatively and flexibly as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Occasional local travel to meetings within the regional area.
- Ability to fluctuate work hours (evenings and weekends) to support work responsibilities.
