United Way of Sheboygan County is seeking an energetic, creative communicator to serve as the Director of Community Development. This position is part of the organizational leadership team and will work closely with the Executive Director and Board to develop and execute strategic marketing and development plans.
The primary duties of this position are the coordination and execution of the annual funding campaign, oversight and participation in the marketing and communication program, and creating linkages for the Volunteer Center. The Director leads staff, volunteers and partners to effectively communicate the mission and impact of United Way of Sheboygan County. The Director is the lead fundraiser and messaging expert for the organization.
- A proven track record in fundraising
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing marketing/branding strategies
- Outstanding writing and presentation skills
- Experience in digital media
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience supervising staff and volunteers
