To manage and oversee all aspects of building operations for United Way of Summit County. This work would include the day to day operations and functions of all locations as well. This position would require the engagement of contractors and vendors to ensure the building is operational and functioning at the needed and necessarily level. In addition, this position will work directly with tenants who occupy owned space.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Vendor/Contractor Management: Works directly with providers on all things related to operations of the building. This would include but is not limited to HVAC, Electrical, Grounds, Cleaning and general maintenance. (50%)
- Perform Maintenance: This position will provide practice of performing maintenance on things that experience normal wear and tear and need. This could include general plumbing, painting, low voltage electrical, landscaping and other general maintenance. (25%)
- Engage: With our tenants to manage the relationships and needs of their physical space within the parameters of the assigned lease. Work with administration manager to make the best plan to meet necessary needs. (15%)
- Strategize: On opportunities for the organization to save and defer costs within the scope of work and relationships. Evaluate processes to ensure we are effective and efficient in our overall operations. (10%)
Educational Background:
High School Diploma
Skills/Experience:
- 3-5 years of related experience in the field of operations, contracting, maintenance etc.
- Competent in MS Office products.
- Interest in the improvement of the Summit County community.

PHYSICAL/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office, walking, climbing stairs.
- Must be able to sit, stand, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds regularly. Minimal lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Must be willing to work non-standard work schedule including nights, weekends, and other unusual hours on occasion.
- Valid driver license and proof of insurance.
- Access to reliable insured automobile to be used for work-related travel in Summit County area.
