Coordinator, Global Sponsorship, Innovation & Partnerships

The Coordinator, Global Sponsorship, Innovation & Partnerships (GSIP) will be responsible for servicing new and existing accounts ranging from our Corporate & Project Sponsors to our new fundraising partnerships and channels.  He or she will liaise with counterparts within the Global Sponsorship department as well as across Corporate Partnerships, Individual Philanthropic Giving and Strategic Foundation Partnerships to ensure maximum satisfaction of our corporate and philanthropic sponsors.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Account Management (50%)

  • Facilitate all servicing and administration needs of our Corporate and Foundation partnerships as well as our Individual Philanthropic Giving donors including account setup, maintenance and change in status.
  • Maintain clear tracking mechanisms for departmental activities, including status of partnerships, delinquencies and deliverable schedules and develop best practice cadence for reporting out to internal stakeholders.
  • Support Letter Writing offering including coordination of events and on-site support as needed.

Acquisition and Retention Strategy (30%)

  • Help Manager to create Corporate Sponsorship acquisition campaigns and materials including holiday outreach and Annual Sponsorship Reporting.
  • Coordinate with Sponsorship Retention Marketing on Proof of Performance deliverables both within our regular reporting schedule as well as those related to unique partnerships, project sponsorship and special events.

Reporting/Analytics (10%)

  • Report on industry best practices and competitive landscape to help GSIP remain forward looking and nimble.
  • Execute standardized reporting via our CRM database, BBEC.

Growth (10%)

  • Offer 10% of your time to another team or department to support your own development as well as the development and good will of GSIP across Save the Children.
  • Perform other duties as may be required
Educational Background: 
High School or Technical/Vocational Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • You have a minimum 2-3 years' experience in marketing, communications or sales
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure on a number of competing tasks.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, relationship builder
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/sales or related field
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
