Youth United Coordinator

On the surface, the Youth United Coordinator fosters volunteerism amongst youth in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan County schools. But when you dig a little deeper, you will find that it's even more fun than that!

In addition to promoting Youth United to youth, grades 5 through 12, you will also be identifying and developing advocates in the form of teachers and administrators within each of the schools, as well as among community leaders. Strategic thinking and creativity will be imperative to the visioning and implementation of a Youth United alumni group comprised of past achievers and leaders. Even more exciting than that, you get direct responsibility for, and hands-on development of, youth in Student United Way (formerly Youth Leadership Council) as they grow into the community leaders they were meant to be...there isn't much that's more rewarding than that!

Compensation/Benefits: 

The Youth United Coordinator position is approximately 20 hours per week (more during key time periods, less during lulls), with an hourly wage ranging between $14 and $16 per hour. There are paid holidays, vacation and sick leave benefits with this position.
