The Senior Director of Integrated Digital Marketing & Recurring Fundraising is responsible for optimizing revenue growth opportunities through both standard and sophisticated marketing techniques in each stage of the marketing funnel, including generating awareness, creating consideration, fostering conversion and building loyalty. Through leadership of strong cross-functional teams who lead on two of the agency’s top strategic priorities, the focus is on driving digital performance that is best in class while growing the donor base of monthly mission supporters. As a senior principal on the IMF leadership team, this role is accountable for developing a strategic roadmap and ensuring it’s successful implementation by providing appropriate oversight, helping to remove obstacles, and developing transformative approaches to positively impact agency-wide digital strategies and recurring donations. The position requires mindful integration and strong collaboration with the Senior Director of Digital Experience and other teams, within and outside of the MCF Division, along with strong external partner/vendor relations.
- Provide strategic oversight and senior leadership of the team that directs the following Digital Marketing activities: Website and Mobile Optimization, Display Advertising, Paid Social, Paid Search, Email, Telemarketing and SEO with a focus on accelerating growth and innovation. (30%)
- Provide strategic oversight and senior leadership of the team that directs the Recurring Donor fundraising channels including Direct Response TV, Face-to-Face Canvassing, Digital Acquisition, Radio and others - as well as all corresponding Retention efforts with a focus on motivating and inspiring continued success. (30%)
- Maintain full financial oversight and accountability for all Digital and Recurring Donor programs. Work in close collaboration with team Directors, the IMF Senior Director of Business Management, Business Analysts and others to ensure tight management of all revenue and expenses. Partner with team to develop growth plans, investment strategies and Board reporting. (15%)
- Continue to develop skills and talents of a high functioning, high achieving, highly motivated and growing team of almost 20 people. (15%)
- Provide digital leadership on Steering Committees, Centers of Excellence, Global Workstreams and with all internal departments as required. Work in close collaboration with IMF VP to ensure effective communication of all activities. (10%)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10-15 years' experience driving revenue through Digital Marketing and Direct Response Marketing
- Must have significant leadership experience managing teams of highly competent and qualified personnel with a demonstrated track record of business transformation
- Strong level of digital and direct response knowledge, skills and experience to lead multiple teams and provide advice, guidance and direction in a fast paced environment with many competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe products would be a plus (AEM, Target, Analytics)
- Marketing experience with a recurring product or service would be ideal
