About Us
Mission:

The Mission of the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area is to sustain the communities, heritages, languages, cultures, traditions, and environment of Northern New Mexico through partnerships, education and interpretation.
Our Vision is Community and economic viability rooted in the heritage and the environment of Northern New Mexico.

Programs:

Over the last few years, the NRGNHA has worked with partners to develop a local agriculture food hub, support artisans in three counties with federal grants, record the stories and histories of the multicultural area, and many other programs to preserve and promote the history, culture and traditions of this unique area.

Why Work For Us?:

The NRGNHA is one of 55 Congressionally designated Heritage Areas in the nation. It is primed to launch new programs and expand existing ones to help protect the history and culture of the area while looking for new avenues for supporting arts, agriculture and recreational opportunities. The organization is poised to be a leader in ways that model how preserving the past can help the economic prospects of future generations.
