ABOUT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

A regional affiliate is currently being formed and will be finalized upon the successful consolidation of Habitat for Humanity of Washington County, Arkansas, Inc. and Habitat for Humanity of Benton County, Inc. Once formed, the regional affiliate will be a member of HFHI and a 501C3 non-profit faith-based organization serving the community with diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The purpose of Habitat is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat seeks to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope in Northwest Arkansas (“NWA”). Habitat partner families qualify for the program by demonstrating the 1) Ability to pay; 2) Willingness to partner; and 3) Need for housing.

The Habitat model consists of three (3) core functions and (3) supportive functions to execute the vision and mission: CORE - 1) RESTORE retail operations; 2) Construction/Repairs; 3) 0% Mortgage Loans; SUPPORTIVE - 1) Community Engagement/Volunteers; 2) Fund Development; 3) Family Support/Services.
