About Us
Mission:

Our mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Our vision is for all girls growing up in Alameda County to feel valued, safe, and prepared to achieve their dreams of college, career, and leadership.

Programs:

We connect girls from underserved neighborhoods with access to the resources and opportunities they need to navigate gender, economic, and racial barriers, and realize their potential. From literacy activities in elementary school, to exciting hands-on science projects in middle school, to building leadership skills and college readiness in high school, Girls Inc. girls receive the support and the opportunities they need to thrive. We focus on the whole girl: her health and well-being, education, and development as a leader. In addition to our K-12 programming continuum, Girls Inc. offers outpatient mental health services for youth and families and school-based case management services in English and Spanish.

Why Work For Us?:

We’re always looking for passionate, results-driven leaders who are committed to changing the world for girls and families in our community. If you enjoy a collegial, fast-paced environment where you will have local impact, we invite you to explore Girls Inc. of Alameda County. In addition to the incredible impact staff can have here, there are a number of psychic and material perks that staff enjoy while working in this space.  We are committed to a diverse work environment where people from all backgrounds are welcomed and valued.
