About Us
Mission:

Spike’s K9 Fund aspires to ensure every Working K9 receives exactly what they need every time. We purchase gear to keep them safer and ensure peak operation, pay for critical medical treatment to help them return to work or live their retirement days in complete health, and host life-saving training courses for handlers across the country.

Programs:

K9 KRIJGER BALLISTIC VEST CAMPAIGN

EST. 2016 | 1527 DOGS VESTED

This fund Honors the life of a fallen K9 and helps equip our working dogs with a custom-

fit Ballistic Vest, one that would have saved K9 Krijger's life.

COMBAT DOG DIESEL MEDICAL CAMPAIGN

EST. 2017 | 409 DOGS HELPED

Medical procedures are one of the most costly expenses for working dogs. This

campaign honors Combat Dog Diesel and goes directly to medical expenses for our

working dogs.

K9 PIPER KIT CAMPAIGN

EST. 2018 | 807 DOGS HELPED

In order to keep the runways safe, K9 Piper had the essential kit to help him do his job.

This is true for all working K9s - without proper gear, they cannot complete their tasks.

We created the K9 Piper Kit Campaign for this very reason. All money raised will buy

items like heat alarms, GPS trackers, non-ballistic vests, and Rex Specs.

SPIKE'S SCHOOL CAMPAIGN

EST. 2020 | 950 DOGS HELPED

Early in 2020, we noticed a growing need for quality training in the K9 community. We

established Spike's School to offer K9 Handlers and their partners an opportunity to be

better, and in turn, keep them safer on the job.

Why Work For Us?:

If you are looking to serve the K9 Heroes that keep us safe and genuinely make a difference in communities across the Nation, Spike's K9 Fund could be your next team. We are a tiny but effective team that fulfills the needs of the working K9 population. Due to our size, we can pivot and adapt to change more easily. We are constantly striving to grow in all areas at a pace we can handle. This is also encouraged personally among the team.  Each of our team members works remotely, but we maintain a tight-knit family. We have weekly video call check-ins. Most of our time is spent on the phone, behind a computer screen, or interacting with humans, but the days with the Dogs make it all worth it.
