Project Manager of Youth
JOB SUMMARY: Partners for HOME (PFH) seeks a motivated Project Manager of Youth to coordinate the Atlanta Youth Action Board (YAB) and youth-focused initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Director of Special Populations, this role leads the YAB, ensures youth engagement in decision-making, and advances the Atlanta Continuum of Care Strategic Plan and Coordinated Community Plan (CCP) goals. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Youth Project Manager will:
- Attend and lead weekly YAB meetings, ensuring objectives are met.
- Maintain order and inclusivity within the YAB’s governance structure.
- Represent the ATL YAB at panels, conferences, and meetings.
- Uphold and support a diverse and representative YAB culture.
- Lead recruitment efforts and onboard new members.
- Identify training needs and coordinate sessions for YAB members.
- Develop and manage asset maps for youth experiencing homelessness.
- Execute deliverables outlined in the YAB scope of work and work plan.
- Collaborate with the YAB Chair on projects and initiatives.
Additionally, the Youth Project Manager will support youth-focused initiatives aligned with the Atlanta CoC strategic goals:
- Establish and maintain youth-specific Coordinated Entry (CE) points and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Outreach Project Manager to identify youth outreach needs.
- Conduct quarterly site visits with CoC youth service providers.
- Monitor and update youth shelter availability and housing project inventory.
- Facilitate timely youth referral matching and vacancy fulfillment.
- Develop and manage the youth by-name list and system performance dashboard.
- Host weekly youth case conference sessions.
- Identify training needs for youth assessors and providers.
- Generate reports from HMIS to track youth system performance outcomes.
- Maintain and update the youth work plan weekly.
- Support youth system implementation, including committee participation and workgroup facilitation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Passion for ending youth homelessness.
- Experience working with youth experiencing homelessness preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices for youth engagement and services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and data management tools (ClientTrack HMIS, Power BI preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High emotional intelligence to support youth empowerment.
- Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field required; master’s preferred.
- At least one year of experience in homeless services or youth programming.

Partners for HOME offers a competitive compensation package including generous health benefits, retirement match, and up to 4 weeks’ vacation. Salary is $52,800.
