The Guest Services Evening Representative (Part-Time) handles basic resort cleaning requests and is trained and ready to handle occasional after-hours emergencies.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Clean an occasional hotel room, interact professionally with guests and provide maid service-type services, and stock housekeeping closets throughout the resort.
  • Operate washers and dryers at proper time, temperature and load cycle settings.
  • Complete basic commercial laundry responsibilities after finishing 8 hour qualification process (no previous experience necessary).
  • Separate dirty laundry and fold clean laundry.
  • Serve customers at the linen exchange door.
  • Complete basic carpet cleaning and water extraction duties after finishing 8 hour qualification process (no experience necessary).
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a diverse environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Demonstrate the ability to speak, understand and write English.
  • Ability to work independently and to be self-directed.
  • Must possess a valid, USA state issued driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. 3’ off the ground.
  • Must be able to spend a large portion of that shift walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and completing basic cleaning and stocking duties in varying/extreme weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work with common laundry and cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be able to get in and out of a vehicle throughout the workday.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to respond to events, assess the situation, and work independently, and communicate effectively via phone or radio.
  • Uphold the YMCA of the Rockies Mission, policies and programs.
  • Support the Association safety program. Promote safe work practices and a safe environment for guests, members and staff.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills; for example, friendly, personable, helpful, patient, and professional.
  • Must meet acceptable criminal background check standards
Compensation/Benefits: 

This is a part-time hourly position to cover 5.5 hour shifts throughout the week at $13 per hour. The shifts are from 6:30 PM – Midnight. Candidates may request, and may be authorized specific evenings of the week prior to hiring. A successful applicant will be able to agree to at least one specific evening each week. Two-three evenings per week is preferred, but not required. Employee perks including:
