Are you a Cause Driven Leader with a strong track record of leading others to advance Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility?  The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina has an exciting opportunity available as the next Executive Director of the Robinhood Road Family YMCA.  

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • The Robinhood Road Family YMCA opened in January 2010 and has grown to become our Association’s second most visited facility.  The branch has a $3 million operating budget, and Annual Giving campaign goal of $180,000, and operates in a 55,000 square foot facility.  The branch has a large membership base and programs are driven by personal training, group exercise and wellness initiatives, and the branch houses the Association’s Literacy Program.  The branch has an open Wellness Center, a Child Watch room and Youth Activity Center and a group exercise room.  Studios include Mind/Body, Cycle and Hot Yoga.  The facility also offers a state of the art functional fitness room and training center.  The Board of Management is dedicated and committed to the success of the YMCA.
  • The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina is a financially strong organization with a $35.6 million operating budget.  As a Living Our Cause Trendsetter YMCA, our Y is a leader within the movement and has 15 branches, 3 express facilities and a resident camp that serves Winston-Salem and nine counties in the Piedmont Triad area of beautiful North Carolina.  The Y is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with convenient access to the mountains and the shore.  Recreation, education, and quality of life opportunities are outstanding.
Educational Background: 
The ideal candidate will have a 4-year college degree
Skills/Experience: 

At least 3-5 years of experience as a YMCA Multi-Team/Branch Leader or other non-profit leader, or related experience.  Additionally, significant experience in membership, program development and community relationship building is preferred. 

Compensation/Benefits: 

The YMCA has great benefits including medical and dental insurance, short term and long term disability insurance, life insurance, EAP and 12% retirement paid by the YMCA upon meeting eligibility requirements.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00
