Under the direction of the Association's Controller, the Business Manager serves as the liaison between the branch and the Association's Finance department with regard to all financial matters.  

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • The Business Manager ensures all business procedures are followed at the branch, specifically petty cash processing and management of branch purchase orders.  In addition, this position is responsible for the registration, billing and collections of all branch childcare and camp registrations. 
  • The Business Manager actively participates in the development, communication and implementation of branch financial practices and policies.  As a member of the branch leadership team, the Business Manager serves as evening/weekend Director on duty on a rotating basis. 
  • The Business Manager also assists members with membership sales, program registrations and other duties as assigned. 
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Two or more years of related business management or office management experience required in addition to a thorough understanding of basic accounting concepts and applications, including cash reconciliation, accounts receivable and accounts payable. 
  • Experience with standard business software and Microsoft Office required.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Hourly: $17.00 - $18.00
