The Director of Youth Development is responsible for directing and coordinating all Childcare operational activities and services for the Hardee YMCA.  Programs include Afterschool Care; VPK, and Summer Camp.  Maintains all staffing, data collection and reporting, needs a high level of customer service and strong working relationship with Florida Department of Health licensing.  Responsible for preparing and maintaining budget and following all required processes and policies.

Educational Background: 
Child Care Director Certification required.  Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Requires strong supervisory and organizational skills with a minimum of 3 years experience working with pre-school or school-aged children.
