The Facilities Director is responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and operation of the building, equipment, and grounds of all Alfond Youth Center facilities (Alfond Youth Center, Camp Tracy, Maine’s Fenway Park, Purnell Wrigley Field, and other acquired properties). This person will perform general and preventive maintenance and repairs as required and within his/her capabilities as well as oversee houskeeping and maintenance staff.
Educational Background:
Minimum of a two year degree from a technical or vocational school with work experience as a maintenance person
Skills/Experience:
- Prior experience in the fields of plumbing, heating, electricity, glazing and carpentry.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning supplies, tools, machines and equipment
- Experience with training, supervision and scheduling of staff.
- General knowledge of maintaining facilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to pass State Bureau of Investigation, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Motor Vehicle, Fraud and Sex Offender Registry background checks.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00
