Why Work For Us?:

Issue One is the leading crosspartisan political reform group in Washington, D.C. We unite Republicans, Democrats, and independents in the movement to fix our broken political system and build a democracy that works for everyone. We educate the public and work to pass legislation on Capitol Hill to increase transparency, strengthen ethics and accountability, reduce the corrosive influence of big money in politics, and bolster U.S. elections. Issue One’s ReFormers Caucus of more than 200 former members of Congress, governors, and Cabinet officials is the largest coalition of its kind ever assembled to advocate for political reform.

Our approach to fixing our democracy is pragmatic — we know that lasting policy changes in Washington require crosspartisan cooperation and bridge-building. But we are bold and ambitious about our goals and hopeful that we can bring about major political reform to build a more inclusive democracy. We are entrepreneurial and work everyday to seize on opportunities to blaze new paths for reform.

We are an office of optimists who know hard work must be balanced with a fun and supportive work atmosphere. We value a positive work-life balance and back that up by offering a compensation and benefits package that is very competitive.
