The Senior Risk Management Analyst assists NPR’s treasury and risk management functions. The primary responsibilities include supporting the organization’s risk management and insurance program through all facets of operations.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Providing day to day insurance program management and support including: managing certificates of insurance process, providing necessary updates regarding international travel to brokers and carriers, and reviewing of contracts with regards to insurance provisions
- Manage insurance and other department invoices and oversee payment process
- Manage claims, payments, and documentation
- Work closely with both insurance brokers and carriers, including policy reviews, walk throughs and audits
- Develop, produce, and present as needed staff training materials and on-going reporting related to risk management
- Assist on the department’s disaster recovery process and administrative duties as needed
- Assisting in the NPR audit process, preparing board level reports, and providing back-up for other staff related to the organization’s debt and treasury program as needed
- Remain up to date on industry trends and changes
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus a minimum of five years’ experience providing support to insurance and risk management
Skills/Experience:
- An ability to thrive in an environment that is deadline driven and flourish with critical thinking.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and report development skills
