World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Senior Specialist for our Online Advertising program at our Washington, DC office. The Senior Specialist Online Advertising plans, develops, and implements direct response marketing programs for WWF in the US, including online advertising, Direct Response Television (DRTV), email acquisition, and partnerships as relevant to the role. The position plays a significant role in driving revenue and new supporters using both proven and emerging technologies for WWF. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Develops and implements the marketing strategy and plans for the acquisition of new monthly donors via DRTV, including working across teams to set and manage the budget, and monitor and report on results, and refine plans as needed.
  • Leads campaign asset/creative production for DRTV and other ad channels as needed, including strategy development, agency briefing, concept testing/consumer research, production execution and in-market KPI evaluation.
  • Manages online Lead Generation program for WWF, including working across teams to set and manage the budget, monitor and report on results, and refines plans as needed.
  • Manages key vendors for DRTV, Lead Generation, and other channels as needed, such as media buyers, creative agencies, websites and others.  Manages from pitch to production to delivery, including annual contracts, updated creative and analysis, as well as ensuring that data from vendors is appropriately integrated with internal Marketing teams such as Analysis, Fundraising Operations, Online Marketing, etc.
  • Analyzes industry and competitive best practices to increase overall performance in advertising, DRTV, and lead generation.
  • Seeks ways to test and expand integrated marketing campaigns into new technologies, platforms or distribution channels.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum 6 years of integrated marketing experience required, preferably in direct response fundraising. DRTV and online advertising experience extremely helpful.
  • Demonstrated skills in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, including:
    • multi-channel creative asset production management, vendor relations, and evaluating consumer research and in-market KPI to make strategic decisions.
    • Ability to collaborate with other marketing and fundraising teams on all aspects and channels of direct marketing, notably Paid Search, Display and Social Advertising,
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to leverage data and consumer research to shape strategies and drive outcomes, including collaborating with analysts to define reports, identify KPIs and share results
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to “zoom in” and “zoom out,” operating effectively at a tactical level while also being a strategic thinker.
  • Strong attention-to-detail.
  • A self-starter who can collaborate with team members to contribute to integrated marketing goals across platforms.
